About

My name is Andrew Lapham Fersch. I'm a writer and a teacher and spend much of my time happily out-of-doors.

I started an alternative education cooperative called The Penn Program (there is a documentary about it that you can watch on this site). I write a lot (for my blog Alright, I'm Wrong and children's books). I love spending time outside (including bicycling cross country and thru-hiking the AT).

I also am quite fond of Vinyasa Yoga and am a certified yoga teacher through Rolf Gates.

My goal is to follow the words of William Penn as best I can: "I expect to pass through this life but once, if, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do for any fellow being, let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again."
